2. Get Adequate Sleep
What is “adequate sleep”?
- 8-hours average, usually a little more (except elderly)
- Let body determine this (put away alarm clock)
- Need to make up deficit if present
Why is sleep necessary?
- Growth, healing, anti-anxiety, prevents pain, helps gut (fast), need dreams, not to sleep is a form of torture
Follow regular sleep/wake cycle that works best
